Memorial Day Weekend Races: Saturday

Snake Alley

It looks like a gentle "s" from here. But this snake has a bite.
Nice to see Fry Guy.
Mike making a practice run down the cobbles.
I'm sorry to say I missed his official ride up the cobbles.
Fat tires.
Skinny tires.
NO tires.

Way to go Linda.

Jane from Punk Rock Cycling, smiles as she climbs. I didn't see too much of that.
I love Andrea's socks.

This is really how fast it feels as they pass.
The breeze they create sometimes sends chills down your spine.

Tracy makes it look too easy at the head of the Snake

There were many big lenses there.
The Hawk Eye and freelance guys wait for the finish of the Pro/Cat1 2 race.
There are several nice articals on the Hawk Eye website.

The winner Dewey Dickey

Memorial Day Weekend Races: Sunday

Melon City Crit

The big pre-race Pow Wow.

Setting up camp on the hairpin turn is Mesa Cycles.

Team Revolution waiting for traffic to pass. Nice track stand!
Pausing a moment to find a lost parent.

Womens Cat 1&2 ready to race.

Another win for Mesa.

Hurry up and wait.
These racers really created a breeze as they flew past.

Man down on the last lap. They moved him in time for the finish.

On to Rock Island!

A Walk Through Hartman

Just a couple pictures of spring at Hartman Reserve Nature Center
A picture perfect day to take pictures. The sunlight was very good at 7:25 p.m. We looked for the baby foxes but didn't see them. maybe next time. We did see and feel mosquitoes though.
Get out and take some pictures before it's too leafy.
